Brief – The prime requirement was to replace an outdated website. Our clients had a clear image in mind and needed improved usability, not least for visitors on mobiles and small pads.
All users needed to arrive on a website in keeping with the brand. For a company with a high level of repeat visits and new customers often coming via referral.
Although working across the freight industry, Dynamic specialise in the TV, film and events sectors. This message and their track record should be clear.
Technical & Search – Search was not viewed as a priority by Dynamic, to the point where they didn’t mind losing a few ancillary enquiries they received.
As a company with an established reputation, they wanted content to meet the expectations of branded traffic. The right service information to be clear and accessible.
Even so, there were historic, technical issues holding the site back. They were addresssed to ensure Dynamic would be found on brand, or key terms, which also improved the site structure.
Design & Build – Our client’s staff were familiar with WordPress. A natural choice, which also suited the nature and structure of the requested website.
Customer feedback, long term data and business priorities helped map the new structure. Key aspects would be available quickly on landing, with visual and text options for guidance.
More detailed areas on insurance, compliance, or company news were less obtrusive but still clear. Available to any user requiring them.
Outcome – Dynamic were pleased with the final design, as were their customers. Mobile stats in particular show people enjoying the new site.
With an image rich website and solid use by customers on the go, extra work went into page speed. This was evident in the result and is bringing improvement to time on site, plus repeat visits.
